   It took me four months before I mastered everything.
   
   Thank you once again, and yeah I also live in Houston Texas.
   
   I was without electricity for 8 days during Hurricane Ike ( September 13 to September 21 ). I'm assuming in your area ( Conroe ) was about the same?
   
   Give or take a few days?
   
   Some people went three weeks without power.
